Responsibility and Ignorance: On Dismantling Structural Injustice, The Journal of Politics, University of Chicago Press, January 2017

Abstract: This essay tackles the thorny question of how to dismantle structural racial injustice.Charles Mills’s work on what Mills calls white epistemologies of ignorance to challenge Young’s emphasis on changing how racially privileged people understand their responsibilities. It makes the case that disruptive politics play a crucial role in dismantling structural injustice. Because they interrupt privileged people’s motivated ignorance, disruptive politics create a political opening to institutionalize structural change.

User and Event Data Retention

User-level and event-level data associated with Google Analytics cookies is retained for 14 months and then automatically deleted.

IP Anonymization

I have implemented IP Anonymization, simply put, the last three digits of your IP address are set to zeros in memory shortly after being sent to the Analytics Collection Network. The full IP address is never retained, or written to disk.
